The Village Idiot is, and always has been, a giant fan of rock and roll music. He also occasionally dips into other genres, but he's mostly a rock guy. Rather than muck up his main blog, Kicked Puppies, with music geekiness all the time, he's started a blog about music.

Okay, you dip into other genres. you kind of have to, with folks like DMB and Jack johnson out there. Have you ever followed Peter Gabriel? Listen to a CD of his called PASSION. I'd be interested to find out what you think. it's more meditative than rock. Amend that. it's not rock at all.
I'm always happy to explore new recommendations because more often than not I wind up with new favorites. I like some Peter Gabriel stuff already, so I'll go check out Passion soon!
